When I added the ticker to my page, I couldn't read the words. How do I fix it?

This might happen if:
  • You used a transparent ticker and the background colour you chose doesn't match the background on your page. When a transparent ticker is created it is optimised to match the background colour, if for instance you have a dark background on your web page, and your ticker has been optimised for white, you won't be able to read the text. There are notes on how to change your ticker background colour.

  • You used a transparent ticker on a busy background. If your web page has a background image or tile, it is better not to use a transparent ticker. to make your ticker a solid colour background, just make sure the transparent check box is unchecked when you create or edit your ticker.

  • Your ticker has been resized. Some forums and web-page editors automatically resize posted images. A full size ticker should display at width 400, height 80. A mini-ticker should display at width 200, height 80. You can try adding width and height tags to your HTML. With the tags your image tag for a full-size ticker will look something like this:

If this doesn't work you may need to check with the support for you web-page or forum to see if there are image size limitations.
